OUR DESIGN FOR SEIKO WINS!
Our Seiko design for the Chennai Express Avenue Mall Lifestyle store wins the 'Best In-store Merchandise' award at the ‘Au Finja Watch World Awards 2010’. This was therefore the best retail design unit for the Indian watch industry in 2010. With the objective of creating a unique, upmarket watch-buying experience in a traditional retail environment in the Bangalore and Hyderabad stores, we introduced our very premium boutique displays as standard. This enabled a strong and highly differentiated brand presence, enhancing the way customers interact with sales people, choose watches - especially those of higher value - and regard the brand in deference to the others present in the same environment. Most significantly, we took a bigger step in Chennai, creating a completely unique, dynamic and exclusive branded display zone in an isolated island location. This has set the brand miles apart from all others in the store by providing a premium level of customer interaction and watch selection, educating them with arresting motion through film on LCD screens, and by presenting the brand in a powerful manner. Corian, chrome, wooden flooring and brown leather set the tone.
With these, SEIKO has changed the way the category is portrayed in a multi-product, multi-branded, large format retail environment. We have created differentiation, maintained and enhanced brand image, engaged the customer better and lifted the customer's overall brand experience. Through these distinctive, classy, clearly branded displays that create an upmarket purchase experience, we believe that the average selling price will be higher than normally expected for a retail location of this nature. |
